Art Show: Feed a Model with Maria Granberg.
My friend and fellow model, Maria Granberg, has been participating in an art show called " Feed A Model". An artist collective, F.A.M. gives working models a platform too showcase their artwork. Where some people may cast models off as dim or vacant, F.A.M. bolsters them and fosters their creative side. An artist her whole life, Maria, has a platform too show what she can do. Since these girls are living and working in a hugely creative industry its no surprise they have an interesting perspective. Its a pretty cool idea. Model-Muse-Artist.

Artist Profile: Kevin "Saer" Leong
Origami $100.00 dollar bill paper cranes and rings, cartoon Asian face masks, pure gold Buddhist neck chains, and a penchant for Louis Vuitton. These are a few of the details I noticed about Kevin Leong when I first met him. He is like a ball of energy, super excited to be working and super excited about life. Humble about his line of work and a crucial work ethic he has.
What I love most about Kevin's style and creativity is how he incorporates his historic culture (Chinese) with his present culture (NYC /graffiti street art). This combination is so on point. His clothing is fresh and in some ways classic with a bunch of hidden elements thrown in; shredded money as stuffing, little origami grasshoppers as emblems, and the use of certain colors. He plays on opposites, juxtaposing almost everything, which too me is so importation and creates a balance. Check out his clothing and web site!
